Active Matter PvE: Isolated Raids, Solo and Daily Limits

Yes, Active Matter has dedicated PvE called Isolated Raids. You can enter solo or with a premade group, without hostile players. A developer reply on September 10, 2026 confirms that there is no daily limit on these raids. Older ticket-limit posts describe a different state of the game.

The developer identifies Isolated Raids as the full PvE mode. The official FAQ separately confirms solo and co-op PvE and warns that solo is harder than co-op. Choose the mode before choosing a route: a description for another mode need not apply to your raid.

Do you need tickets or wait until tomorrow?

No daily cap is described in the developer’s September 10 clarification: Isolated Raids can be repeated without a per-day limit. That answer directly corrects the “one PvE raid a day” claim in the same discussion.

A different restriction can still affect your preparation: Provided Equipment has a five-minute reuse block measured from the start of the previous Provided Equipment raid. That is a loadout restriction, not a daily PvE entry limit. Those raids also do not count toward Investigation progress in 0.4.0.93.

Is solo PvE an offline mode?

Do not treat solo as an offline option. Steam lists a broadband internet requirement and Online Co-op. The forum reply about playing alone does not establish that the game works disconnected from its servers.

Likewise, PvE does not imply free equipment recovery. Check the safe-container and death-loss rules before risking items.
