Is Active Matter Crossplay?
Yes. Active Matter supports crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Crossplay lets these platforms match together, but it does not make progress shared between PC and consoles.

Can PC and console players play together?
Yes. The official FAQ confirms cross-platform multiplayer across the listed PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. On consoles, you can search within your own platform, across consoles, or across all platforms. A restricted pool and all-platform search are different matchmaking choices.
Crossplay does not transfer PC progress to a console. Steam and Gaijin Store progress can be shared on PC when you use the same Gaijin account; PC progress does not carry to PS5 or Xbox Series X|S.

Crossplay lets players meet across platforms. Shared progress determines whether your account progress follows you. The official FAQ answers these separately.
PC storefronts share progress through the same Gaijin account
The official FAQ records shared progress between the Steam and Gaijin Store PC versions when the same Gaijin account is used. It separately states that PC progress is not shared with PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
