The safe answer is narrower than “crossplay”

The verified statement concerns PC progress sharing and the PC-versus-console boundary. Do not expand it into a claim about console-to-console progression or matchmaking.

PC storefronts share progress through the same Gaijin account

The official FAQ records shared progress between the Steam and Gaijin Store PC versions when the same Gaijin account is used. It separately states that PC progress is not shared with PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
